Leicester City finally release a list of three players to leave the club on a free transfer

Youri Tielemans, Ayoze Perez, and Caglar Soyuncu are all expected to leave Leicester City on free transfers at the end of the season, according to reports.

The Foxes are currently in contract talks with James Maddison, who is under contract with the club until June 2024.

Newcastle United, which had two bids rejected for the England international last summer, has expressed interest in Maddison.

Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are also interested in him, but Leicester remains hopeful that he will stay at the King Power Stadium.

While contract talks with Maddison continue, three players are expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

Tielemans, Perez, and Soyuncu will all leave on free transfers when their contracts expire in the summer, according to The Telegraph.

Tielemans has started 19 of Leicester’s 22 Premier League games this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Despite being a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ squad, Tielemans appears unlikely to sign a new contract with the club.

The Belgium international has previously been linked with Arsenal, and according to a recent report, the Gunners may renew their interest in the summer.

Perez appears to have already played his final game for Leicester after signing a loan deal with Real Betis in January that will last until the end of the season.

The Spaniard has 15 goals and 12 assists in 114 appearances for Leicester City, but he will be free to join a new club in the summer.

Meanwhile, Soyuncu is set to join Atletico Madrid on a free transfer in the summer.

Atletico Madrid looked into signing the central defender in the January transfer window, and while a deal last month fell through, he is set to join the Spanish capital at the end of the current season.

Soyuncu has fallen down the pecking order this season, making just two Premier League appearances, but he has three goals and two assists in 127 appearances for Leicester City.

Leicester City, who came from behind to beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-1 on Saturday, is 13th in the Premier League table, six points above the relegation zone.

When Leicester City face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, they will be looking for their fourth consecutive victory in all competitions.
