Leicester were seen in the January window as a chaser for Nantes defender Nathan Zeze and could well be back in the summer to try to bring the highly talented player to the club. Zeze (18) is one of the top prospects of Ligue 1, and to see him in a Leicester shirt could be a revelation. Still a rookie with a potential, and probably not a first team alternative at once, but will of course be interesting to follow as progress will be made.
Zeze is on a running contract until June 2026 and would be an ideal selling object, with his agent MYG Invest probably looking for an option to play up a sale. Nantes, currently 16th in Ligue 1, could fall out of the top tier, this would of course also be a trigger to get a deal done.
Stefano Sensi is out of contract in the summer, and with Enzo Maresca being an admirer, we could see Leicester land the Italian international, being a free agent and no fees involved. The former Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is also one out of contract in the summer, with the 35 year old also being a free agent, it could be an option, for a short term deal and a one year return to Premier League.
Davy Klaasen will also leave Inter in the summer. The former Ajax and Everton midfielder at 31 year of age and with unfinished business in English football after his stay at Goodison Park ended in just 7 appearances, due to injuries and lack of opportunities. Klaasen will be looking for a new club and possibly having an eye on Premier League as a place to go
So far we have no direct and concrete information regarding Cuadrado and Klaasen being options for Leicester, but Sensi is one we believe will be drawn back to the list of targets when we now more closely which division Leicester will be playing in next season.
Never miss out on any of our updates regarding new players being rumoured to join Leicester, during April and May a lot will be settled regarding next season and hopefully a return to Premier League will see a very exciting summer of hot, cool and cold rumours updates.
