Leicester City key midfielder finally share special news as all fans join in celebration

The midfielder has revealed the huge announcement on social media, which is the most recent Leicester City news.

Leicester City midfielder James Maddison announced on social media that he and his partner are expecting twins.

The midfielder has been one of the Premier League’s top performers thus far this season, and he is expected to be a vital figure in City’s quest for survival in the remaining five games of the season. On his comeback from illness, he assisted Jamie Vardy’s 80th-minute equalizer against Leeds United on Monday night.

Maddison announced on social media on Friday afternoon that his partner Kennedy Alexa is expecting a boy and a girl. Following the birth of their son Leo Cruz in July 2021, the twins will be the couple’s second and third child.

“Special news to share with my friends and followers…,” Maddison posted on Instagram. TWINS are the latest additions to our family!

Twins! The professional footballer, 26, and his girlfriend shared their jovial baby news in a sweet Instagram post on Friday

“I was and continue to be at a loss for words.” So fortunate. Leo is really excited to meet his new little sibling and sister.”

The City man received a flood of greetings in the comments, with City’s official Instagram account writing: “Congratulations,” along with two blue heart emojis. James Justin, another City player, responded with two heart emojis.

Former City players Jeffrey Schlupp, Danny Simpson, and Andy King were among those who congratulated him. Jude Bellingham, a Borussia Dortmund midfielder and England teammate, responded, “Congratulations brother.”

When City return to action on Monday night, Maddison will be hoping to celebrate the good news with a goal. The team will face relegation rivals Everton at the King Power Stadium in what appears to be a pivotal match in the race to stay in the Premier League at the end of the season.
