According to Fichajes.net, Real Betis ‘dream’ of signing Dennis Praet from Leicester City this summer.
This season, the midfielder has played less than 1000 minutes in 28 games, including only six league starts.
He may consider leaving Leicester at the end of the season, and the club will ‘not resist’ his departure. This has piqued the interest of European teams, notably La Liga’s side.
Betis manager Manuel Pellegrini would have granted the procedure the ‘green light’ since the acquisition of the Belgian international would provide a ‘major leap in quality’ to the squad.
Los Verdiblancos ‘have in mind’ to present an offer of roughly €15m for the Leicester star as they believe this is ‘more than acceptable’.
At the moment, it’s unclear whether the Spanish club has made a firm offer to Leicester to try to broker a deal for Praet. Betis’ interest in the player, on the other hand, could ‘lead to a negotiation’ between the two clubs in the coming weeks.
Betis believe the Leicester midfielder is a ‘great signing’ for them.
