Leicestershire’s most recent Leicester City transfer news Foxes are reportedly interested in Bayer Leverkusen’s Odilon Kossounou.
Leicester City are said to be prepared to compete with West Ham for Bayer Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou.
Following his move in 2021, the 22-year-old is said to be looking for a fresh start. Prior to joining the Bundesliga, Kossounou made a name for himself at Club Brugge, where he quickly became one of the most sought-after defenders.
He has, however, fallen out of favor in Germany this season and may be on his way out in the summer to a club where he will be given regular playing time. In the January transfer window, West Ham reportedly had a loan bid for the defender rejected by Leverkusen.
The Hammers are set to renew their interest, according to journalist Alan Nixon, but will face competition from Leicester. Despite signing Harry Souttar from Stoke City, Foxes manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be looking to strengthen his defensive options.
Leverkusen is said to be asking £25 million for their player.
