Leicester City takes final decision on appointing former Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch

This comes following back-to-back league defeats at home to Aston Villa and Bournemouth, leaving the Foxes in 19th place, two points away from safety.

Marsch kept Leeds up last season after taking over for Marcelo Bielsa in the middle of the season, but he was fired earlier this year with the club facing another relegation struggle, having won only 11 of his 37 games in command.

Rodgers’ stint at Leicester ended with one draw and six defeats in his final seven games, and two further defeats after his dismissal have left the team in serious jeopardy.
