Leicester City vs Walsall predicted XI as Steve Cooper makes eight changes with one full debut

Leicester City are back in action on Tuesday evening as they travel to the West Midlands to take on Walsall in the fourth round of the League Cup.

The Foxes were held to a 1-1 draw against Everton on Saturday afternoon and remain winless in the Premier League.

Bilal El Khannouss made his full debut for Leicester but struggled to really get up to speed, so Steve Cooper should consider handing him a start against the League Two outfit in order to build up his match sharpness.

Danny Ward is expected to come in for Mads Hermansen with a much-changed back four ahead of him.

Ricardo Pereira hasn’t featured in the Premier League this season and his only minutes have come in the League Cup, so he’s set to start alongside Wout Faes, Conor Coady and Luke Thomas.

Heading into midfield, in steps Oliver Skipp, who was dropped at the weekend, with Wilfred Ndidi partnering him in the double pivot.

El Khannouss could make his second start for the club as Cooper may try to play his statement arrival into form.

Abdul Fatawu and Kasey McAteer operate on the flanks with Odsonne Edouard making his full debut up front.

Leicester predicted XI (4-2-3-1): Ward; Ricardo, Faes, Coady, Thomas; Ndidi, Skipp; Fatawu, El Khannouss, McAteer; Edouard.
