Leicester City’s burning transfer question with survival credentials in spotlight

News that Leicester City will not receive a points deduction over their 22-23 financial accounts has brought optimism over the club’s survival bid. While City are not totally in the clear yet, with 23-24 finances still to be assessed, they are in a much better place.

But there’s plenty else to influence confidence levels. Steve Cooper’s reign officially began with the first Premier League games of the season and there was lots to take in.

There were periods in the games where City were on the back foot and under heavy pressure. But equally, they’ve had good moments, and against decent sides too in Tottenham and Aston Villa.

Plus, there was a fair amount of transfer activity in the final fortnight of the window, Oliver Skipp, Jordan Ayew, Bilal El Khannouss and Odsonne Edouard joining. In El Khannouss and Edouard, City got the attacking midfielder and striker that many craved, leaving them with a balanced squad.

But are there any areas of the side that the first three matches have exposed as requiring further strengthening? And how have the performances in those matches impacted belief in the club’s ability to secure safety?

Those are among the questions we’re asking supporters, with the international break offering an extended period to reflect on the campaign so far. We want to know your thoughts on the club’s transfer business, Cooper’s start, the hierarchy’s running of the club, and more. Give your thoughts in our survey below.
