Leicester in serious negotiation with Denmark world Goalkeeper after bid of ‘significant size’
According to BT in Denmark, the goalie was pulled out of a recent friendly because his team was ‘in negotiations’ with another.
Leicester has since ‘made the bid’ for the player, according to BT, as they strive to improve their goalkeeping department. They also have Danny Ward, fellow Dane Daniel Iversen, and Alex Smithies, but the goalkeeper position was an issue for them last season, and it appears that new manager Enzo Maresca has decided he needs another player in the position.
According to BT, Leicester has made a’significant size’ proposal for the midfielder, valued at roughly €7 million (52 million kroner).
That figure would make Hermansen, along with Jesper Lindström, the equal second highest departure ever secured by Brndby. The current record is Daniel Agger’s move to Liverpool in 2005 for €8.76 million.
The relevant parties are’still in communication’ concerning the trade, and there is no word on whether the Danish goalkeeper will be sold this summer.
Leicester, on the other hand, is ‘working hard’ to make a trade happen and has already made a sizable bid for the player, demonstrating their interest in him.
