Liverpool is currently in deep talks with agent to sign The 31-year-old world star

Liverpool is one of several Premier League clubs that have held talks with PSG superstar Neymar about a summer move.

The 31-year-old is regarded as one of the best footballers of his generation, having consistently performed at the highest level for nearly a decade.

Neymar is Brazil’s all-time leading scorer, having scored 77 goals in 125 appearances for his country while also winning six league titles and one Champions League trophy.

He is under contract with PSG until 2025, but recent rumors suggest that he is dissatisfied, which could lead to a departure.

According to 90min, Neymar‘s representatives have spoken with Liverpool about a summer move, with a Premier League switch appealing to him.

Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are also mentioned in the report, hinting at a bidding war for him in the coming months.

Neymar is clearly an incredible footballer who has had so much success – PSG boss Christophe Galtier has called him “one of the best players on the planet” – but it is difficult to see him at Liverpool next season.

At 31, some argue that his peak years are behind him, and Jurgen Klopp should be looking for younger players who are eager to work hard for the team.

Neymar has only averaged 0.2 interceptions per game in Ligue 1 this season and is now considered a luxury player, with his exorbitant wages likely only afforded by some of their rivals.

In many ways, it is a shocking rumor, and while some may not be opposed to the forward wearing a Liverpool shirt, it feels like a bad fit, especially given that Klopp already has six strong attacking options at his disposal.
