Liverpool issue three transfer teams as Leicester City proceed efforts to sign Liverpool midfielder

Southampton, Brighton, and Leicester City are all interested in signing Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain from Liverpool.

Three Premier League clubs are vying for the signature of Liverpool midfielder Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain, whose contract expires at the end of the season, according to Football Insider (via Liverpool Echo).

Southampton, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Leicester City are all said to be interested in signing the forward, who is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

Signed from Arsenal as one of the first major faces to join Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp, the move has not gone as planned for both parties.

With the exception of a couple of words here and there, Ox has struggled to find a starting spot at Anfield. That is not what we expected when we paid 35 million pounds for him and signed him from Arsenal with only one year left on his contract.

Many can point to his numerous injuries during his time here, but even when fully fit, he has been unable to perform at a level that would warrant a starting spot in the team.

Similar to Naby Keita, both midfielders had enormous potential but failed to fully develop it and stake a claim for a sustained run in the side.

This season has demonstrated that the team requires new faces with top-tier quality, particularly in the midfield, so it would be a stretch to say that Ox will be a part of the team in the long run.

As a result, a move away is best for all parties involved, and hopefully going to a mid-table team will allow Ox to regain his lost form and confidence and give him a chance to revitalize his career.
