However, persevering with my search, I have stumbled across one piece that might materialise into something.
According to The 72, who have picked up on a piece of social media content by the journalist Alan Nixon, the Hatters are one of two clubs who are looking towards South London, Selhurst Palace in particular, with a view to signing a 21-year-old winger, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.
Rak-Sakyi has found it hard to establish himself in the Crystal Palace side but showcased his talents while on loan at Charlton Athletic, back in the 2022/2023 season.
The winger started his career in West London, with Chelsea, before leaving Stamford Bridge, in 2019, to join Crystal Palace.
The statistics show that, during his career, he has made 8 league appearances for Crystal Palace but has yet to score and while on loan at Charlton Athletic, during the 2022/2023 season, he made 43 league appearances scoring on 15 occasions.
The youngster, to his credit, also has 6 England U21 caps to his name, scoring a solitary goal, against Romania on his debut.
Earlier in the article, I mentioned that there are, reportedly, two EFL Championship clubs after his signature with Blackburn Rovers being named as the other.
There is no mention of what magnitude off fee Rak-Sakyi would command, but m belief is that this could be a deal that just might be worth keeping an eye on, even though it appears that his current club have offered him a new deal, perhaps the temptation of regular football may be enough to tempt him to make the short move north.
