Luton Town are poised to sign youngster Jordan Iwhiwhu following his exit from Bristol Rovers, according to a report by BristolLive.
Luton Town are set to hand the prospect his first professional contract in the game following their relegation from the Premier League. They have slipped back into the Championship after finishing in the bottom three along with Burnley and Sheffield United.
Iwhiwhu, 17, cut ties with Bristol Rovers earlier this summer after his deal wasn’t extended by the League One side. He has since been weighing up his options and is now expected to head to Kenilworth Road for a new and exciting chapter in his career.
BristolLive report the Hatters are swooping in for him following his departure from the Memorial Ground. Rob Edwards’ side have a big summer ahead of them as they look to bolster their ranks and bring in some new faces to freshen things up.

Luton Town could see Iwhiwhu as one for the future and someone who they could integrate into the first-team down the line.
As well as Bristol Rovers, the attacker has also had a spell at Fulham in the past.
The teenager will initially link up with the Hatters’ youth set-up with a view to making the step up to the senior team down the line.
Edwards’ side will be aiming for an immediate return to the top flight in the next campaign.
The step up a league proved too steep for them in the end after their play-off final win over Coventry City at Wembley on penalties last year. However, they still made a decent account of themselves and have benefitted massively from the finances side of being in the Premier League even just for a year.

The fact Luton Town are bringing in Iwhiwhu show they are looking to inject more quality into their development ranks.
They published their retained list at the end of May and confirmed that Dan Potts, Luke Berry, Fred Onyedinma, Elliot Thorpe and Admiral Muskwe have all left which frees up space and funds in their ranks for new arrivals.
