Corinthians are expecting official bids for him in the coming window, and they want to make him their biggest sale in their history, as his contract includes a €50 million (£44.5 million) release clause.

The Magpies are in an exciting period as they look to develop a group of young, talented players for the future.

They have already signed Garang Kuol and Harrison Ashby in the last two transfer windows, and Pedrinho would be an exciting addition to that list.

The Brazilian has been dubbed a “jewel” by journalist Raul Moura, and with Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton already at the club, the Tynesiders will believe they have a good chance of convincing him to join.
