Manchester United in deep contact with AC Milan to sign fast and atomic attacker Rafael Leão

While there is no doubt that Manchester United requires a new striker for next season, another versatile forward may also be required.

At least, that’s what Pianeta Milan believes, claiming as an exclusive that the Red Devils are interested in signing Rafael Leo.

The forward is currently in a contract standoff with Inter, which Manchester United could take advantage of if no renewal occurs in the coming months.

Already a target for other Premier League clubs, the Portugal international is now on Erik ten Hag’s radar, with United’ready to rush’ to sign him if an opportunity arises.

The plan is to pair him with Marcus Rashford “for a quick and atomic attack,” according to the website.

His contract in Milan includes a €150 million release clause, and the Serie A club ‘would not want to deviate too much from that value,’ according to reports.

However, with only one year left on his contract in the summer, they would have to accept something lower, ‘but not by much,’ or risk losing him on a free agent the following year.

It is also stated that Milan must consider that 20% of any future transfer will go to Lille.
