Manchester United XI vs Man City: Confirmed team news, lineup and injury latest for FA Cup final

Erik ten Hag under pressure heading into Wembley showdown

Manchester United could have Mason Mount available for Saturday’s FA Cup final against Manchester City.

The big summer signing has endured an injury-hit first season at Old Trafford, limited to only 19 appearances across all competitions.

Erik ten Hag is under pressure at Old Trafford amid suggestions he will be sacked after the showpiece game at Wembley.

His hand has at least been boosted somewhat by returns for Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martinez of late, while Raphael Varane, Victor Lindelof and Anthony Martial were all spotted in training this week.

Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire were both included in England’s 33-man provisional squad for Euro 2024 but are facing a race against time to be fit for Saturday’s final.

Man Utd predicted XI: Onana; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Dalot; Casemiro, Mainoo; Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford; Hojlund

Injured: Maguire, Shaw

Doubts: Mount, Lindelof, Martial

Time and date: 3pm BST on Saturday 25 May, 2024

Venue: Wembley

TV channel and live stream: BBC One and BBC iPlayer
