Newcastle CEO host supporters event in Atlanta with all fans to welcome back star boy

It’s an opportunity to engage with our American fans’: Newcastle CEO Darren Eales praises the’sold-out huge game’ against Chelsea on the club’s preseason tour in the United States, as well as the return of ‘hero’ Miguel Almiron, who hosts a supporter gathering in Atlanta.

Newcastle United CEO Darren Eales and club star Nobby Solano met with fans in an Atlanta bar on Saturday during a live broadcast of the team’s game against Leeds United.

The purpose of his trip was to generate excitement for Newcastle’s preseason tour in the United States as part of the Premier League’s Summer Series.

Former Atlanta United forward Miguel Almiron will also be returning to his old haunts.

‘I’m really looking forward to the summer since we have a big game against Chelsea in preseason. ‘The Mercedes-Benz Stadium is already sold out,’ Eales added. ‘They also get to see the return of hero Miguel Almiron.

‘Because Miggy is a legend in Atlanta, the fans are ecstatic… It’s an opportunity to interact with our American supporters.’

‘To have over 150 fans come out and support us early in the morning in Atlanta is extremely unique,’ Eales remarked at the occasion. The enthusiasm we see every week at St. James’ Park and in Newcastle is felt all across the world, and it’s fantastic to witness.

‘Football in America has grown rapidly over the last decade, and seeing fans from Newcastle and the US here is fantastic. We have adopted Geordies all around the world and hope to connect with as many fan groups as possible.

‘Being in Atlanta and seeing the fans ahead of the Premier League Summer Series allows us to engage with our fans ahead of what will be a fantastic pre-season, both on and off the field.

‘America is a fascinating market for sport, and we want to be a part of it, bringing Newcastle United to worldwide audiences and ensuring that we bring our supporters with us during this exciting moment for the club,’ says the club’s president.

Solano also assisted with the teaching of around 30 young soccer players in the neighborhood.
