Newcastle United hold fresh £40m talks with club to sign Championship Midfielder

Arsenal, Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, and Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United could all sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton for £40 million.

Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Liverpool are all interested in signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton during the summer transfer window, according to The Sun (print edition, page 53, July 7, 2023).

According to the source, the Saints were reportedly seeking £50 million in transfer fees for the Belgium international defensive midfielder.

Arsenal, Liverpool, and Newcastle, on the other hand, are unwilling to pay that much for the 19-year-old, who has been described as “incredible” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

According to a British publication, Southampton is now prepared to sell Lavia for £40 million.

Romeo Lavia might join Arsenal, Liverpool, or Newcastle United.

Arsenal, Liverpool, or Newcastle United, in our opinion, could recruit Romeo Lavia from Southampton during the summer transfer window.

The Saints have made it clear that they are eager to move the former Manchester City prospect this summer.

And the defensive midfielder may be interested in joining Arsenal, Newcastle, or Liverpool.
