Newcastle United is ready to push hard and sign £52m-rated star Allan Saint-Maximin knows

Newcastle United transfers: Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram is still on Newcastle’s radar as the summer transfer window approaches.

Newcastle United are looking to add many new players to Eddie Howe’s team as they prepare for European football next season. Thuram has also piqued the interest of other prominent European clubs, including Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

The 22-year-old has had a strong season with Nice, earning his first senior cap for the France national team. He has two goals in 47 appearances and is the younger brother of Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram, who has also been linked with Newcastle. He is also close friends with winger Allan Saint-Maximin.

Marcus Thuram is scheduled to become a free agent this summer once his contract with Gladbach expires, and he has drawn interest from clubs all around Europe.

While Khephren Thuram is under contract with Nice until the summer of 2025, he is not without admirers this summer.

Nice value the combative 6ft 4in midfielder at roughly £52million, and transfer expert Rudy Galetti claims Newcastle are seeking to beat PSG and Chelsea to a deal for Thuram this summer if they qualify for next season’s Champions League.

The Magpies are presently third in the Premier League rankings and might be just a few wins away from claiming Champions League participation for next season. Newcastle haven’t competed in Europe’s top flight in nearly 20 years, and they just have three games left to do so.
