Newcastle United to sell fans favourite key player on one conditions after £40m bid received

According to The Telegraph, Newcastle United is willing to trade popular midfielder Allan Saint-Maximin for a fee of over £40 million.

However, manager Eddie Howe apparently wants to keep the player, and the final choice will be made by Saint-Maximin himself.

Newcastle will not sell the player if he indicates a desire to stay with the club for another season.

Saint-Maximin has been a prominent performer for Newcastle in recent seasons, with his outstanding performances helping to maintain the club in the Premier League.

However, injuries and the introduction of new acquisitions hampered his game time last season, resulting in the Frenchman making only 25 league appearances. Despite this, he managed to score one goal and assist on five occasions.

Newcastle are aggressively working on strengthening their team in addition to probable exits.

As they prepare for the upcoming season, the club has recently been linked with Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher and Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips.

Newcastle will be anxious to sign top-tier players following their qualification for the UEFA Champions League.
