Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for seven senior players this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Gunners will consider bids for Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Kieran Tierney, Nuno Tavares, Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month Mikel Arteta is looking to raise funds to sign a new forward in a “big-money” deal once the transfer window reopens.
Arsenal to sell players to fund summer spending
It’s been another strong season for Arsenal as they battle it out with Manchester City for the Premier League title heading into the final few days of the campaign.
None of the seven players in question have made a significant contribution to proceedings at the Emirates in recent months, with Ramsdale, Nketiah, Smith Rowe and Nelson on the fringes of the first team.
Tierney is currently out on loan at La Liga side Real Sociedad, while Tavares and Lokonga are undertaking temporary spells with Nottingham Forest and Luton Town.
Ramsdale could be the player at the centre of most of the attention after he’s been linked with several clubs since losing his place in the starting lineup to David Raya.
Football Insider revealed on 8 May the England international already has an agreement in place with Arsenal that he can leave this summer, with Chelsea one of the latest sides to register their interest in signing him.
Any potential transfer fees the Gunners receive for their unwanted stars are likely to be used to provide Arteta with more quality first-team options ahead of next season.
