Forest pushed to exciting youngster by his agent

An interesting summer awaits Forest with the Reds holding some players who could bring in serious money if they were to be sold.

The likes of Murillo and Morgan Gibbs-White are held in high regard at the City Ground with the Brazilian said to be valued all the way up to £70m.

But it seems the Reds have their eyes on an exciting young talent who could also one day potentially be worth a considerable figure.

According to German outlet Mopo, Forest have been offered St. Pauli’s versatile youngster Eric da Silva Moreira by his agent Jorge Mendes.

The 18-year-old has emerged as an exciting talent with the German side who have just secured their promotion to the Bundesliga for the upcoming season.

It is claimed Forest hold an interest in the youngster who could be acquired for a fee as little as €1.5m (£1.2m) this summer.

And the report suggests this is a deal which is likely to be concluded.

Forest eyeing big talent in Eric da Silva Moreira

St. Pauli have already lost a big piece of their side in their manager Fabian Hurzeler to Brighton & Hove Albion.

But now it seems they could be losing a piece of their future with Silva Moreira.

It has to be said, this is a player who has very little experience in the men’s game as it stands. At just 18, he has only spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign training with St. Pauli’s first team.

He was handed his debut in 2. Bundesliga, but he only made a brief cameo appearance from the bench.
