Nottingham Forest star Nicolas Dominguez was praised by Clinton Morrison after yesterday’s game with Brentford. The Argentine was excellent throughout the contest and grabbed the equalising goal.
Forest landed Dominguez in the summer from Bologna. The Reds took him from the Serie A outfit for a small fee and also allowed Remo Freuler to join them on loan.
Forest are already seeing what kind of player they have in Dominguez. He worked tirelessly yesterday and it was a real shame when he was forced off near the end of the clash.
Forest star Dominguez praised by Morrison
The BBC Sport pundit was watching the Forest game and he gave his opinion on the newcomer. It would appear that he was impressed with him yesterday against Brentford.
Dominguez left everything on the City Ground turf. He looks like a quality signing and at 25-years-old there is a sense that he could still improve as a player.
Morrison was delighted with his performance and raved about him on BBC Radio 5 Live: He said: “Dominguez has been good, he’s neat and tidy – a really good player.
“I said all of the signings they’ve made this year have really impressed me to be fair.”
Dominguez is already a fan favourite on Trentside
There is so much to like about the man with 11 caps for Argentina. The Copa America winner is already proving a hit with the fan base and clearly, he can play.
There is more to come from Dominguez at Forest. He’s still going to have to adapt to certain elements of playing in the Premier League. However, that will come with time.
Forest do look to have signed a gem with Dominguez. This week, Cooper will be hoping that the injury which forced him out of the Brentford game doesn’t prevent him from playing against Crystal Palace next weekend.
