Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive, with Juventus linked with a summer move for Reds defender Renan Lodi.
Juventus is expected to renew their pursuit of Nottingham Forest’s Renan Lodi this summer.
The full-back joined Forest on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid in the summer. The loan includes the option to make the move permanent in the summer for approximately €30 million (£26.3 million).
Lodi has been a regular in Steve Cooper’s Premier League starting lineup this season. However, it appears that his future may not be at the City Ground, with reports earlier this month claiming that the Reds will decline the opportunity to sign the player, who is currently on international duty with Brazil.
If that is the case, Atletico will almost certainly cash in on Lodi. Newcastle United have been linked with a move, but another black and white club could also be interested.
Prior to joining Forest, Juventus were said to be interested in the player. According to Juvenews.eu, the Old Lady may re-enter the market for the player.
One factor that would make any transfer go more smoothly is that Lodi reportedly has an Italian passport, which would allow Juve to sign him without using up one of their non-EU spots.
