Nottingham Forest are apparently interested in Galatasaray winger Kerem Akturkoglu.

Forest’s efforts to sign the 24-year-old in the summer were unsuccessful. According to reports, a €11 million (£9.5 million) offer was regarded “very low” by the Turkish side.

Akturkoglu is still in the spotlight, with numerous teams rumoured to have recently watched him play for Turkey and Galatasaray. Forest, along with Aston Villa, West Ham, Brighton, and Everton, have been among the clubs to “check” on the winger, according to TEAMtalk.

Reds renew their interest in the new year, they will have competition from a slew of European clubs who are thought to be interested in him.

After joining Galatasaray in 2020, the Turkey international signed a contract extension until 2026.
