Nottingham Forest offers for €15m Brazil international as red to finalize deal in few day

The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the Reds are linked with yet another Brazilian player

Nottingham Forest are interested in Monaco’s Brazil international Vanderson, according to a report.

Brazilian website RTI Esporte claims the Ligue 1 outit are braced for an offer from Napoli as speculation around the 22-year-old’s intensifies.

They say Napoli have already made contact with Monaco, who ‘will not object’ if the right offer comes along and add that while the Serie A outfit would pay €9million, Monaco want nearer €15m for a player who has won two international caps.

The report adds that Forest and Sevilla are also interested and that his agent, Giuliano Bertolucci will listen to offers from both clubs.

Despite having a couple of spells out with injury, Vanderson started 20 Ligue 1 games last season, split between right back and right midfield – and has played 84 times in total for the Principality club. Vanderson moved to France in January 2022 for a reported fee of €11 m, having made the breakthrough at Gremio. He made his Brazil debut last summer.

Forest have been linked with a host of players so far, with the window not even due to open until tomorrow. As things stand they have Neco Williams and Ola Aina as options at right back, though the latter spent much of last season operating on the left. Gonzalo Montiel also spent last season on loan.
