Nottingham Forest is pleased to announce a new contract for David Modupe.
The 17-year-old defender, who joined Forest in May 2017, has signed a new three-year deal with the club.
Modupe enjoyed a successful season in 2023/24, playing 16 times in the U18 Premier League.
Head of Academy Chris McGuane said: “David thoroughly deserves the opportunity to extend his contract with us and we are delighted he has signed his first professional contract on completion of the first year of his scholarship.
“David has shown he has real potential as a player and has improved considerably since joining our full time programme at the start of the 2023/24 season. David is a very dedicated person who is always trying to be better each day both on and off the pitch.
“We look forward to seeing him improve as a player further and wish him well on the next stage of his development at the club.
