Nottingham Forest is thought to be interested in signing KRC Genk attacker Mike Tresor this summer, according to a 90-minute report.
Tresor, 23, is primarily an attacking midfielder who can also play as a left winger or a center forward if needed. The Belgian moved to Genk in 2021 and has had a fruitful time with his current club, with his Transfermarkt valuation rising from €4m to a career-high €13m.
During the current season, he has had a productive year in front of goal, scoring seven goals and registering 18 assists in the Jupiler Pro League, a career high in both categories. His performances have earned him praise from the media as a “very, very strong” player, while scout Alberto Casas has stated that Tresor is “exploding numerically this season.”
In the last 24 hours, 90min reporter Graeme Bailey provided a transfer update on Tresor, claiming that Forest are one of five Premier League clubs interested in signing the Belgian. Forest, Brentford, Brighton, Leicester, and Wolves have all shown interest in Tresor in recent months, with Championship leaders Burnley also interested.
