Nottingham Forest are interested in Tottenham starlet Ryan Sessegnon.
Nottingham Forest have set their sights on Tottenham’s youthful star, Ryan Sessegnon, according to The Sun (h/t NottinghamForest. news), as they attempt to bolster their team in the next summer transfer window.
The Reds, led by head coach Steve Cooper, are eager to sign the powerful left-footed sensation. Cooper has taken notice of Sessegnon, who is looking to bolster his roster ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old, who joined Tottenham as a teenager from Fulham in 2019, has yet to make an impact at the North London club. Many people believe he still has a lot of untapped potential.

Sessegnon’s versatility is one of his most outstanding qualities. He can play in a variety of positions on the left side of the pitch. Cooper sees him as a natural fit for the left-sided wing-back role at Forest, despite the fact that he has mostly played in more advanced roles during his career.
Forest’s head coach has extensive experience working with Ryan Sessegnon, having coached him in the England under-17 setup. Cooper now intends to reconnect with the young talent at City Ground and assist him in reaching his full potential.
Last season was difficult for Sessegnon, who failed to persuade both Antonio Conte and interim manager Ryan Mason that he merited a regular starting berth. Although he appeared in 27 games, just 14 of them were starts.
Sessegnon’s injury setback at the end of last season is one major concern surrounding this potential deal. A hamstring injury hampered him in February, thereby terminating his 2022/23 season.
Former Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho, a noted admirer of Sessegnon’s abilities, called him “absolutely fantastic” during his time at the club. The young player had his most fruitful stint under Mourinho’s tutelage.
