NottinghamshireLive brings you the latest Nottingham Forest news as Reds goalie Ethan Horvath prepares for a second consecutive play-off final.
Ethan Horvath, goalkeeper for Nottingham Forest, has praised Luton Town’s “massive” play-off final against Coventry City on Saturday.
The American shot-stopper is on loan at the Hatters from Forest and has impressed for Rob Edwards’ side in the Championship. During the current season, he has 20 clean sheets.
Horvath, who was a substitute in the Reds’ 1-0 success against Huddersfield at Wembley last season, will be looking for back-to-back play-off final victories.
And, ahead of Saturday’s big showdown against the Sky Blues, the Forest goalkeeper couldn’t disguise his excitement.
“I think the magnitude of this game is just really massive for the fans,” he said, according to ESPN.
“It’s difficult to put into words. The NBA Finals are currently underway, and my hometown Denver Nuggets are participating. If they win, they will not receive 200 million or whatever the prize pool for this game is.
“If you look around the stadium here, it’s going to be massive for the fans and the community.” Getting into the Premier League is one thing, but having all of that [here], the possibilities for the stadium, the fans, and the town are limitless.”
At Wembley, the 27-year-old will face another Reds loanee, defender Jonathan Panzo, who is scheduled to play for Coventry.
