Nottingham Forest star player looking likely to leave the club in the summer transfer window

According to rumours, Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Dennis is set to leave Premier League club Nottingham Forest during the summer transfer season.

Dennis joined Nottingham Forest from Watford last summer, signing a four-year contract that will keep him at the City Ground until June 30, 2026 if both parties fulfill their end of the bargain.

According to the Athletic UK (subscription needed), Nottingham Forest have not yet received an offer for the Nigerian, but his representation have begun the process of initiating exploratory conversations with potential interested parties.

Dennis has ruled out a move to the Saudi Professional League because he wants to finish his career in Europe.

The former Club Brugge man arrived at Nottingham Forest with a reputation for making things happen in the opposition box, having personally contributed to sixteen goals (10 goals, 6 assists) in 33 Premier League appearances for Watford in 2021-2022.

However, he fell short of his own high expectations last season, contributing five goals and three assists in twenty-five games for the two-time European champions.

Statistically, Reds manager Steve Cooper does not appear to be a fan of Dennis, having started him in only nine of forty-four games in all competitions last season.
