Nottingham Forest star sent heart-touching farewell message as fans go in tears

Keylor Navas, the goalkeeper at Nottingham Forest, has made a choice on his future. The goalkeeper will return to PSG at the end of his loan stay, but he is eager to return to England.

According to Foot Mercato, the player has developed a fondness for England. However, he is not expected to return to Forest for a second spell.

Navas joined Forest on loan just hours before the transfer window closed in January. He was brought in to replace Dean Henderson, who suffered a season-ending thigh injury.

During his career, the 36-year-old has won three Champions League titles. As a result, the signing appeared to be legal, at least on paper.

Navas did not let us down. He has only kept two clean sheets, but he has been called upon countless times and has produced some outstanding stops.

The veteran with almost 100 caps for Costa Rica does not appear to want to continue with Forest. He believes he can still play for a major club and anticipates a slew of offers from around the world.

Dean Henderson will be the Reds’ top priority for the position between the posts. However, they may have hoped to sign Navas as well throughout the offseason.

Steve Cooper enjoys collaborating with two veteran goalkeepers. When it comes to playing in goal, it’s difficult to get more experience than Navas.

This season, Navas has received considerable criticism. On his day, though, he has come up trumps for Forest, assisting them in claiming enough points to ensure their safety.

The Reds will undoubtedly require a goalkeeper this summer. According to these allegations, they may have a lot of work to do to convince Navas to stay at City Ground.
