Forest have enjoyed a positive start to the season, winning two and drawing one of their opening five Premier League games. One of those wins came against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Last time out saw them come from behind to draw with newly-promoted Burnley. The results so far leave them in eighth place in the Premier League table, a far cry from their position near the bottom of the league this time last season.
Steve Cooper’s side are back in action on Saturday when they face one of the toughest tests in World football – a trip to the Etihad Stadium to take on Manchester City. Ahead of the game, Turner has reflected on the season so far, saying that new arrivals have brought a “fresh perspective” to the club.
“In the three games that we haven’t won, we feel disappointed in the dressing room which I think is a really good thing,” he told the club website. “There’s a lot of ambition, a lot of new players with a fresh perspective of things, there are guys getting to know each other and over time that’s going to continue to come out because I think there’s real quality in our side.”
