The Chelsea winger progressed through the West London club’s development system before making his senior debut in an FA Cup fixture against Newcastle United in 2018. He has played in nearly 70 games for Chelsea.

But a major transfer rival has emerged which could see the Reds miss out on the Chelsea player. Journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted on Tuesday, claiming that Hudson Odoi “has been approached by two Saudi clubs today.”

He maintains that “talks have not yet started on the player side” and that it is “not clear yet” whether he will accept the move. During the summer transfer window, Saudi Arabian interest in Premier League talent has become a major story.

Ruben Neves will leave Wolves for Al Hilal in a rumored £47 million deal alongside Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante.Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Hakim Ziyech, and Kalidou Koulibaly are also expected to relocate to the Middle East. It comes after Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United to join Al Nassr at the conclusion of last year.
