Three clubs following Nottingham Forest midfielder – Player not keen on any of the options

Scarpa joined Nottingham Forest in January, and after failing to impress at the City Ground, he was loaned to Olympiacos for a season.

R7 columnist Cosme Rimoli highlights that Diego Martinez, manager of the Greek side, didn’t ask for his signing, as the transfer was ‘imposed’ by the club’s board.

The midfielder is mostly staying on the bench at Olympiacos, and that’s why the Brazilian clubs have gotten in touch with his entourage to get to know more about his situation.

The problem is that Scarpa wants to keep pursuing his dream of succeeding in Europe, and doesn’t think about returning to Brazil at this stage.

R7 claims that Evangelos Marinakis has little patience, and once a player doesn’t impress, he usually gets rid of them quickly.

So Scarpa’s coming months should be decisive for a potential stay at Nottingham Forest or Olympiacos. His contract with the Reds runs until 2026.
