SIPHELO BALONI

Orlando Pirates have managed their overcrowded central midfielder department. Siphelo Baloni has moved to Chippa United.

The 24-year-old star Baloni had a brilliant 2022/23 season with All Stars in the Motsepe Foundation Championship and suddenly signed for Orlando Pirates. After making just nine appearances for the Sea Robbers, the Sasolburg-born player has joined the Chilli Boys on a season-long loan.

“SABC Sport has established that Orlando Pirates midfielder Siphelo Baloni is on the verge of joining Chippa United on loan for the season,” Mazola Molefe reported via SABC Sport.

“It’s understood the paperwork should be finalised before the end of the week, with the 24-year-old searching for regular game time in the Betway Premiership and poised to get more minutes in Gqeberha,” the report added.
