Ligue 1 (12th day). Monaco – Brest, this Friday (7 p.m.)A little less than two weeks after his team’s non-match in Montpellier, Éric Roy confided on Thursday that he was “not satisfied from an accounting point of view” with his players’ start to the championship. Brest, after eleven matches, is twelfth in Ligue 1 with a three-point lead over the relegation spot, Saint-Étienne. “There is an urgent need to take points because we want to advance in the championship,” he announced. “It is obvious that I am not satisfied with our start to the championship, particularly from an accounting point of view. There were matches that were really too weak: Auxerre,
Montpellier, the first half against Nice. I put the first two matches (Marseille and Lens) aside because I consider that we did not have too many arguments at that time.”
