£30m Tottenham target publicly yelled at by his own teammate after he curse a goal last night

In his most recent appearance for Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur target Harry Maguire was yelled at by one of his colleagues.

According to BBC Sport, new Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was not pleased with the England international.

Time is running out for new manager Ange Postecoglou to find a center-back solution before the season begins.

Tottenham’s defense was, to put it mildly, porous last season, and those concerns have already surfaced in pre-season.

Spurs won 5-1 against Lion City Sailors, although the Singaporeans were able to capitalize on a defensive error.

Postecoglou’s side have been linked with plenty of defenders this summer, including Harry Maguire.

West Ham are also keen, but a move to Tottenham is likely to appeal more given the status of the club, even if they’re not in European competition.

A move to Tottenham could help rebuild Maguire’s confidence, especially if his current Man United teammates aren’t pleased with him.

He needs to move on this summer, especially after having the captaincy taken away, and Spurs might be the right destination.

According to BBC Sport, Onana was not pleased with Maguire during their 3-2 loss to Borussia Dortmund this morning.

A sloppy pass from Maguire to Christian Eriksen gave Dortmund an opportunity, but Onana came to the rescue.

He then launched a ‘furious diatribe’ at Maguire and ‘raced from his goal to berate’ the defender.

Maguire has been valued at £30 million by Manchester United this summer, making him one of the most expensive players Tottenham is interested in.

Tottenham’s biggest targets this summer appear to be Edmond Tapsoba and Micky Van de Ven.

Spurs, on the other hand, are having difficulty negotiating agreements for both players since their clubs are unwilling to sell.

If Tottenham is unable to secure a deal for either Bundesliga-based defender, Maguire would be an adequate backup.

His recovery speed could be a concern considering that the Spurs appear to be looking for quick defenders.

Maguire’s experience, on the other hand, would be very useful, and he may be the man to calm down Cristian Romero, who was really rash towards the end of last season.
