Mikey Moore will sign a contract with Tottenham in the next 24 hours, pledging his devotion to the club and putting rumours of his probable departure to rest.
In the last 48 hours, the 15-year-old has sparked a media frenzy. Moore was being chased by some of Europe’s major teams as Tottenham’s brightest young talent.
Moore will sign a deal that will transition him from scholarship to schoolboy status, followed by a professional contract once he reaches the age of 17. The deal will keep him in north London until he reaches the age of 18.
However, Tottenham will consider this as the first of many contracts, as they will want to keep the teenager long after this three-year term expires. That will, of course, depend on how he progresses and develops.
Moore possesses the raw talent and limitless potential to become a first-team starter on the senior squad if everything goes as planned.
However, like with any youngster of such impressionable age, a lot must happen for that to happen.
Whatever happens in the future, keeping Moore is being referred to as a “coup” for Tottenham, who had resisted the advances of some of Europe’s juggernauts.
Few Tottenham fans have had the opportunity to see Moore play live, but that will undoubtedly change now that he has been thrust into the media limelight.

Moore was a member of trophy-winning sides at the Under-17 and Under-18 levels last season, as well as the Under-19s in the UEFA Youth League.
In 2022-23, he appeared in 10 Under-18 Premier League games, scoring three times and assisting four times.
The dynamic left midfielder has also earned three Under-15 and seven Under-16 international caps.
