Ange Postecoglou list out two potential transfer target to replace Eric Dier and Ben Davies

Tottenham Hotspur appear to be more likely to sign Micky van de Ven than Edmond Tapsoba this summer, but both might be signed.

Spurs’ main priority in terms of transfer incomings is new center-backs. They sorely need to replace Eric Dier and Ben Davies, and Ange Postecoglou has his sights set on a duo from the Bundesliga.

Tapsoba and Van de Ven have both been highly linked with a move to Tottenham. Paul Brown has just updated GiveMeSport with the latest information.

Tottenham should consider Micky van de Ven and Edmond Tapsoba.

The Dutchman, who is only 22 years old, is lightning fast. Despite being a defender, he outpaced Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr in peak speed last season, which is astounding.

Tapsoba is also not a slow defender. The 24-year-old, dubbed a ‘strong’ player by the Bundesliga website, is a fantastic footballer in his own right, and he has far more experience than Van de Ven.

Tottenham have already met with the Wolfsburg defender’s representatives, according to Brown. They appear to be more likely to sign him than Tapsoba, although both of them could wind up joining the club in the coming weeks.

“Spurs appear to be a little further down the line with Van de Ven,” the journalist remarked. They’ve met his tribe. I understand that his personal terms will not be an issue. It’s simply a matter of reaching an agreement with his club on a cost.

“That one appears to be more likely than Tapsoba at the moment.” But both are on Tottenham’s radar, and it appears that the club will aim to sign two center-backs this summer. As a result, they may sign both.”

Tottenham will not compete in any European leagues next season. That’s unfortunate, but it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise because they’ll only play one game every week.

That will allow Postecoglou plenty of time to put his plans into action, and if Spurs get their recruitment right, they might be a very difficult team to play against next season.

Tottenham would be lucky to get one Van de Ven or Tapsoba, but if they can get both, they will be in a wonderful position to start the season.
