Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.
Since his €18.5 million move to the Bundesliga giants, the 21-year-old has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter and has been linked with a move away.
The highly touted midfielder has expressed his dissatisfaction with his lack of playing time at Bayern Munich.
He emphasized his desire for more opportunities on the pitch in an interview with De Telegraaf through 90min.
He said:
“I had expected to get more opportunities and minutes than I did.” I had done a lot of planning and thought I earned it.”
“All I want is to play more, preferably for Bayern Munich.” Otherwise, I play at a club where I am 100 percent committed. That is my preferred option. Because I don’t want to have another year like this one. That sort of thing. One season is sufficient; I learned a great deal. But all I want to do is play football.”
According to the article, in addition to the Merseyside club. Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, and West Ham United are all ‘keeping an eye’ on the player’s position.
While Liverpool appears to be the player’s favourite destination at the moment, his eventual destination remains unknown.
Van van Vaart, a former Tottenham Hotspur fan, has previously stated that Ryan Gravenberch is “better than Bellingham” and that he should have joined Tottenham instead of Bayern.
With the transfer market being officially open, it will be interesting to watch which team signs the rising talent.
