Daniel Levy give approval as new head coach submit list of two summer transfer target

Tottenham Hotspur have identified their first two recruits for the forthcoming summer transfer season, according to journalist Matt Law.

Tottenham chose Ange Postecoglou as their new head coach after a lengthy hunt for a new permanent manager.

The Australian performed admirably at Celtic, winning five trophies in two years, including a domestic treble this season.

The club is expected to undergo a massive makeover in the summer as they try to refresh their team, with a number of players leaving and numerous new players joining.

And, according to Law, the Spurs are trying to fill two critical positions early in the summer, especially a goalkeeper and a center-back.

During the episode, he stated:

“I know for a fact that people have been told that two key positions that Tottenham are looking to fill early this summer are goalkeeper and centre-back.”

Hugo Lloris, Tottenham’s captain and long-serving goalkeeper, has pretty much confirmed that he will leave the club this summer, possibly to rejoin his hometown club, Nice.

His contract expires next year, and the Spurs are apparently open to trading him after a dismal season.

Brentford’s David Raya, Inter Milan’s Andre Onana, and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford have all been mentioned as potential replacements.

Pickford appears to be the most likely possibility at the moment, and according to the latest Football Transfers report, Spurs have even approached the Merseyside club about him.

Spurs have also prioritized the position of center-back. According to reports, the club is planning to release players such as Davinson Sanchez, Eric Dier, and Ben Davies.

Unlike Conte, who prefers three defenders, the Australian is likely to deploy four, which means the club will have a couple of centre-backs on the bench.

The two most recent centre-backs linked with the club are Manchester United’s Harry Maguire and Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi.

While a goalkeeper and center-back are thought to be top priorities, Tottenham also want an offensive midfielder urgently. The club has been heavily connected with James Maddison as a possible signing to fill this need.

It will undoubtedly be a fascinating summer for Spurs fans, who will be eagerly awaiting the team Ange Postecoglou assembles.
