Fans join club in celebration as Fabrizio drops update on crucial step on Tottenham to sign Julian Nagelsmann

Tottenham are not in a haste to select a new manager, and Julian Nagelsmann, who has emerged as one of their contenders, is not either.

According to Fabrizio Romano, writing exclusively for CaughtOffside’s Substack in ‘the Daily Briefing,’ there hasn’t been much movement on the Nagelsmann to Spurs situation, with nothing particularly progressed at this point.

Nagelsmann may be a good fit for Tottenham, who presently have Ryan Mason as interim manager following the resignation of Antonio Conte and the dismissal of former interim Cristian Stellini.

Tottenham fans will be hoping that their club’s next appointment goes well, with Nagelsmann seeming like a viable candidate after his experience with Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig in his native Germany.

Still, it appears that Nagelsmann is not in a rush to decide his next move amid interest from THFC, and the north Londoners bringing in a replacement for Fabio Paratici appears to be crucial in determining the manager situation.

“Tottenham has Julian Nagelsmann on their list, along with other candidates, for sure,” Romano stated. “But nothing is advanced or decided yet.”

“Daniel Levy will take his time making a final decision; the board/directors situation must also be clarified following Fabio Paratici’s resignation; this is a critical step in deciding on the new manager.”

“Nagelsmann is not in a hurry to decide on his future.”
