Yves Bissouma has told Tanguy Ndombele on his Instagram story ‘see you soon’ after he secured a transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Turkish giants, Galatasaray.
Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez at Galatasaray
When the 2023 summer transfer window in England slammed shut on Friday, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Tottenham supporters felt that their unwanted stars, such as Tanguy Ndombele, were going to stay put after failing to get moves.
But certain windows across Europe were still open, with Tottenham still having a few more deals under their sleeves, as they proved with Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez – Serge Aurier reacted to the Spurs centre-back also heading to Turkey.
Nonetheless, Ndombele, who prior to Richarlison’s arrival, was the club’s record transfer, took to his Instagram on Tuesday evening following his move to Galatasaray.
It’s a much-needed deal for both parties because Tottenham needed him off the wage bill and he needs to leave Spurs to progress his faltering career.
Nonetheless, Bissouma, via his own Instagram story, posted the following message to Ndombele after his overnight post.
“My G,” Bissouma responded with a heart and eyes heart emoji. “Dead it over there, see you soon, bro.”
So much talent from Ndombele, very little end product
It was all there for Ndombele, the platform to shine, showcase his stuff and prove to be a top, top midfielder.
When on the ball, he proved that he had outstanding ball-carrying ability and the skill set to score some brilliant goals or go past players like he had a Playstation controller in hand.
But football isn’t just about what you do with the ball, the most important part is what you do without it, and in truth, Ndombele just didn’t seem bothered, which resulted in his downfall and subsequent move to Turkey.
