West Ham have confirmed Rice’s departure.
Following West Ham’s 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Europa Conference competition, owner David Sullivan declared Declan Rice’s final game for the club, despite interest from numerous clubs, including Arsenal.
“I believe it has to be [his final game].” We told him he could go. He made up his mind to go. You won’t find a man who has given more to us this season. “He has to come on at some point, and we have to find a replacement – or several replacements,” Sullivan told talkSPORT.
