Harry Kane advised Daniel Levy to sign world-class attacking minded manager

According to Football Insider, Harry Kane will play a significant role in the selection of the next Tottenham manager.

The North London club is anxious to keep the 29-year-old striker this summer and are willing to go to any length to do so.

Spurs are said to have assured Kane that he will be able to influence their managerial search as part of his contract negotiations.

The board has vowed to keep in touch with Kane on their hunt for a new manager, and has agreed to consider his input.

Spurs launched contract talks with Kane in February, according to Football Insider sources, with the club wanting to get negotiations started as soon as possible.

Kane’s current contract expires in 2024, and Tottenham are increasingly concerned about losing him for nothing if they are unable to extend his stay.

The board has vowed to keep in touch with Kane on their hunt for a new manager, and has agreed to consider his input.

Kane is thought to want to continue at Tottenham, but finding a permanent replacement for Antonio Conte is critical.

Tottenham’s board is aware that Kane would like a more attacking manager to keep him happy in North London.

Tottenham’s absence of Champions League football could make keeping Kane and recruiting a world-class manager tough in the summer, as they have tumbled out of the Premier League’s top four after losses to Bournemouth and Newcastle United.

Despite Tottenham’s difficulties, Kane has scored 26 goals in all competitions this season.
