Harry Kane makes shocking decision between PSG and Bayern after series clash with Levy

Harry Kane does not want to join PSG this summer and is solely interested in joining Bayern Munich.

It comes as the French champions stepped up their pursuit of Kane, with Mail Sport saying that the club’s chief executive, Jan-Christian Dreesen, met with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy last week.

The striker, who scored 30 goals in 38 Premier League games last season, has traveled to Australia with Ange Postecoglou’s squad for their pre-season tour, despite significant uncertainty over his future at Tottenham.

PSG were interested in a swap deal with the London club in which they would trade developing youngster Xavi Simmons as well as cash for the striker.

But Kane is keen on a move to Bayern Munich, who have already made two bids, with Levy demanding more than £100 million for his prized striker.

Their most recent offer was for £70 million, which is sure to be rejected by the London club, who have placed a considerably greater premium on their prized asset, scaring off the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea from buying him.

Bayern executives are sure that Kane wants to play in the Bundesliga and are confident that they will get him.

Despite being resigned to missing out, Manchester United is still being referenced in the same conversations about signing him, and might rekindle their interest if he decides to run his contract down at Spurs.

If Kane leaves, Tottenham will look to replace him with Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic.

However, they will face heavy competition, as both Chelsea and PSG are interested in the Serbian attacker.

Meanwhile, Kane returned to training last week and met with new boss Ange Postecoglou, who admitted that he had not heard anything about the attackers’ prospective exit from Bayern Munich.

There are many individuals who know Harry better than I do, yet he is unfazed by anything,’ the Australian remarked. ‘He’s here, and while he’s here, he’s completely dedicated to what we’re doing.

‘That’s how I’ve perceived things. In terms of me, it has no bearing. Nobody has contacted me from Munich. If other teams want to talk about our contracted players, that’s their problem, not ours.’

When asked how the conversation went, he replied, “Just a good chat.” ‘There was nothing earth-shattering or defining. I introduced myself, and we mostly talked about the club, where he feels it’s at, and how we can improve things.

‘It was more about the group and what we were doing. That was something Harry and I agreed on; we want to see a good team this year.’
