Legend strong advise Tottenham Hotspur not to repeat the same transfer mistake

The 28-year-old central defender spent last season on loan at the North London club and was set to join them permanently in the summer.

Tottenham, on the other hand, elected to return him to his parent club, and they are now being connected with a permanent move for him once more.

According to the Spanish daily SPORT, Barcelona is expecting to resolve the defender’s future by next week and is willing to let him leave the club permanently.

He might reportedly return to Tottenham on loan with a purchase option. Barcelona’s management is aiming to reach a deal with the North London club soon.

Lenglet performed admirably for the Premier League team last season and might be a helpful alternative for them.

Tottenham might be tempted to sign him if he can be signed for a low fee.

The North London giants require additional depth and skill at the back, and the Barcelona defender would be an excellent option for Ange Postecoglou.

Last season, Spurs were fairly dismal defensively, surrendering 63 goals in the league. They’ll be trying to improve in that area, and bringing in a pair of excellent defenders should be a primary goal.

Tottenham has been linked with players such as Edmond Tapsoba and Micky van de Ven in recent weeks, in addition to Lenglet.
