The Gambia’s teenage striker has made a significant impact on the international level.
According to the player’s agency, Adama Bojang has the potential to become one of “Africa’s great forwards.”
Standard Sport believes that the young attacker has piqued the curiosity of Premier League clubs after impressing for The Gambia at the U20 World Cup in Argentina.
The teenager led his team to the round of 16 and scored twice in their first-round victory over Honduras.
This came following a successful U20 African Cup of Nations campaign in March, during which the forward was nominated to the tournament team after scoring four goals.
Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Liverpool, and Tottenham have all shown interest in the 19-year-old, who currently plays for Gambian club Steve Biko FC.
Lens, Eintracht Frankfurt, and RB Leipzig are also rumoured to be interested in Bojang, who is valued at approximately £2.6 million.
“Adama is the best African player I’ve seen in the last decade,” agent Sacha Empacher told Sky Germany.
“He has the makings of one of Africa’s great forwards.” In addition to Drogba, Eto’o, Salah, and Osimhen.”
