Tottenham are allegedly interested in signing Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic if they need to replace Harry Kane.
The north London giants are still interested in Kane, and it’s evident that a significant signing up front would be required to fill the vacuum if he were to leave.
Vlahovic is available this summer, according to Football Insider, and Spurs might pursue him to reinforce their front line, but they will almost certainly encounter competition for the Serbia international’s signing.
Chelsea are also interested in Vlahovic, according to CaughtOffside, but are unwilling to pay Juventus’ €80 million asking price for the 23-year-old.
However, if Tottenham profit from Kane’s departure to Bayern, they will almost certainly have enough money to pay for Vlahovic.
Spurs fans would undoubtedly welcome the addition of a talent like Vlahovic, even though replacing an elite goal-scorer like Kane will almost certainly be impossible.
Chelsea should step up their pursuit of Vlahovic or they will undoubtedly miss out, and they already have striker concerns with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s departure and Romelu Lukaku’s struggles.
